The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tilden, who took down 518th ranked Chicago International Charter-Longwood Academy, 26-0.
Hirsch was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from eighth to sixth in Chicago Public Intra-City 2. Earlier in the week, the Huskies triumphed over Gage Park 38-0.
Anthony Nash and Jeffery Carodine gave Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Nash threw for 176 yards and 4 touchdowns, while Carodine ran for 121 yards. Teammate Nash added to the ground attack by rushing for 66 yards.
Nash and Carodine gave the Eagles a balanced attack through the air and ground last week.
Carodine was the best running back in the league this week.
He went 11-17 with 1 interception.
Irvin Navarrette was the best receiver in the league this week as Juarez fell to Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville. Navarrette tallied 4 receptions for 62 yards. Omar Ibarra helped Juarez's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 65 yards.
Nash put up the best numbers in passing as Lorenzo Johnson's team defeated the Eagles. Nash's favorite target this week was Michael Gaines, who caught 5 passes for 62 yards.
Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nash has thrown for 382 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Gaines has 11 catches for 222 yards.
An important game coming up in Chicago Public Intra-City 2 this week will be when Hirsch takes on Kelly. At the moment, the Huskies are in sixth, while the Trojans are in first.
Kelly moved up to 508 from 538 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Angelo Hernandez's team was able to move up by beating Kennedy 31-0.
