The Browning Indians will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Polson Pirates at 6:00 p.m.
Browning pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Bigfork by a score of 68-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Saturday (62), Browning still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Polson's six-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They managed a 51-46 victory over Libby. The victory was just what Polson needed coming off of a 61-41 loss in their prior matchup.
Polson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Lichtenberg out in front who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jesse Vail, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Browning's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Polson, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10.
Browning beat Polson 74-61 in their previous meeting on January 5th. Will Browning repeat their success, or does Polson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
