Baseball Recap: Blair Wins Going Away Against Seneca Valley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Magruder, Blair was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles with a sharp 13-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blazers, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Blair got a massive performance out of Jacob Wright, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Carle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Blair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seneca Valley only posted a batting average of .118.

Blair's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Seneca Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Blair will take on Churchill on the 22nd. As for Seneca Valley, they will host Magruder at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
