Troy's rough 64-39 defeat to Hiawatha might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Troy in their matchups with Hiawatha: they've now lost six in a row.
Troy's loss came despite strong showings from Gannon Bowe and Jack Hartman. Bowe scored 15 points, while Hartman scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hiawatha, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Troy will head out on the road to face off against Doniphan West on Tuesday. As for Hiawatha, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Centralia at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th.
