Parker is 4-0 against the Wolverines since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Parker Braves will be staying on the road to face off against the Westside Wolverines on February 5th. Parker comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-20, which was the final score in Parker's tilt against the Hornets on Thursday. Parker was down 50-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Meanwhile, Westside was able to grind out a solid victory over the Golden Eagles on Thursday, taking the game 51-40. The victory was just what Westside needed coming off of a 74-15 defeat in their prior matchup.
Parker's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Westside, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.
Parker strolled past the Wolverines when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 63-46. Does Parker have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
