Evanston gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 53-6 win over the Ben Lomond Scots. The Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scots, too.
Evanston found their leader in sophomore Camden Batt, who rushed for 54 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.
Evanston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ben Lomond only rushed for 51 rushing yards.
