Rashad Dockery Goes Supernova in South View Win
Starting off the list is South View's Rashad Dockery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dockery rushed for 202 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
The victory (which was South View's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Dockery will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Gray's Creek on Friday.

Reed Came Up Big in Gray's Creek's 28-24 Win
Gray's Creek found a leader in Ezekiel Reed as the team took down Lumberton on Friday. Reed was dynamite, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Lumberton's probably not too fond of Reed given he always seems to get the better of them. When Reed last faced the Pirates back in October of 2023, he rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Donavan Frederick and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Seventy-First picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Donavan Frederick. Frederick was dynamite, rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Seventy-First pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Frederick and Seventy-First will welcome Purnell Swett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Deandre Nance Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Seventy-First picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deandre Nance. Nance showed up in a big way, rushing for 113 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.1).
If history really does repeat itself, Nance might just drop another big game when he faces off against Purnell Swett on Friday. Nance rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Cape Fear was led to victory by Bryan Charles, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Charles picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
If history really does repeat itself, Charles might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jack Britt on Friday. When Charles last faced the Buccaneers back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
