It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Cypress Creek ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past West Orange 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Cypress Creek has posted yet this season.
Cypress Creek found their leader in underclassman Beezer, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Jacopo Neri was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
Celebration suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 62-21 defeat at the hands of Santa Fe. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Celebration has scored all season.
Cypress Creek's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Celebration, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
