The Hampton Talbots are on the road again on Thursday to play the Canon-McMillan Big Macs at 4:00 p.m.
Hampton lost 8-2 to Chartiers Valley on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Canon-McMillan can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Ringgold 8-2. The win was some much needed relief for Canon-McMillan as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
M.J. Maruschak looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
On the hitting side, Cam Russell was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nico Patragas, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Hampton dropped their record down to 8-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Canon-McMillan, their record is now 8-11.
