On Friday, The Columbia Falls Wildcats got themselves on the board against the Ronan Chiefs, but the Ronan Chiefs never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chiefs 53-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Columbia Falls, who have now won six contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Cody Schweikert continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 201 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Columbia Falls also got a significant boost from Banyan Johnston, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.
The win (which was Columbia Falls' fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points per game. As for Ronan, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Columbia Falls will look to defend their home field on Friday against Whitefish at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Whitefish is ranked 16th, while Columbia Falls is ranked sixth). Ronan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
