Kingsbury had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a hard 17-34 fall. If they were hoping for some payback for the 3-41 loss against St. Benedict at Auburndale the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Kingsbury off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving St. Benedict at Auburndale a 1-0 record.
Next week, Kingsbury take on Memphis University at 7:00 PM. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they will face of against Overton.
