Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colonial Christian). They really took it to the Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-17 win. With the Cougars ahead 35-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Stinna Grubb was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 16 points, ten assists, and 11 steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Kate Minton was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Colonial Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Colonial Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colonial Christian will challenge Heritage Hall Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
