The Pawhuska Huskies can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They secured a 36-30 W over Pawnee. That's another feather in the cap for Pawhuska, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Pawhuska was led to victory by Lane Kyler and Trenton Miles. Kyler scored eight points along with nine rebounds, while Miles almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, ten rebounds, and nine blocks.
Pawhuska's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Pawnee, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Pawhuska won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Newkirk is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home. Pawnee will take on the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
