It was a good run, but Lago Vista unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 53-41 to the Live Oak Classical Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why Lago Vista lost, don't look at Porter Herrod. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Sisemore, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

Jayden Ogden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Live Oak Classical, going 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Ogden is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Creighton Polnick, who posted 12 points.

Lago Vista's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Live Oak Classical, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
