Maranatha moved up to 704 from 735 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Olympic. The Minutemen were able to make move up by topping Valley Christian 42-21.
Village Christian took down Heritage Christian 44-9 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Crusaders' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jack Struiksma threw for 227 and three touchdowns and Clayton Granch had 172 yards receiving. On the ground Jonathan Nicholson chipped in 140 yards. Michael Douglas helped Valley Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for 29 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Crusaders take on Maranatha. Village Christian is in second place, while Peter Karavedas' team is in fourth place.
Jay Shroeder's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on the Warriors.
