If Stockbridge was feeling good fresh off their 74-46 takedown of Hampton on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stockbridge Tigers took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jones County Greyhounds on Saturday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mya Anderson was her usual excellent self, going 11 of 15 on her way to 26 points and five rebounds for Jones County. The match was Anderson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamiyah Adams, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Stockbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Jones County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Stockbridge will welcome Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jones County, they will head out to challenge Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Locust Grove: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Jones County has snatched up 12 consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
