The Erie Tigers won the last time they faced the Loveland Red Wolves, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Erie blew past the Red Wolves 56-16 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-4.
Erie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Juliet Slater out in front who scored 12 points along with three steals. Alexandria Ridenour was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Loveland still got an impressive performance from Autumn Rinehart, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Erie and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Loveland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Erie will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Brighton is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Loveland, they will head out on the road to square off against the Thunderhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Prairie View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
