Bangor is 8-2 against Camden Hills since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Windjammers at 2:00 p.m. Camden Hills took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bangor, who comes in off a win.
Bangor is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since June 14, 2025 on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Brewer a 1-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
The result came thanks to Emma Tripp's shutout, as she gave up just a hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bangor's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Pierce, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Meanwhile, Camden Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Mt. Blue by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Windjammers have suffered since May 27, 2025.
Thea Laukka put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Laukka was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Bangor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Camden Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Bangor suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Camden Hills when the teams last played back in April. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
