The Nease Panthers's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past Middleburg 50-27. For Nease, this counts as revenge for the 54-47 defeat Middleburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.
Daniela Reich was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 5 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sage Pytel, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Nease back to even at 2-2. As for Middleburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Nease will head out on the road to face off against St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Middleburg, they will stay at home for another game and welcome St. Johns Country Day at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. St. Johns Country Day will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
