If White was riding high fresh off their 97-10 takedown of Jefferson two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The White Longhorns came up short against the DeSoto Eagles on Thursday, falling 56-33. The Longhorns' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

White's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for DeSoto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White will face off against Molina at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for DeSoto, they will venture away from home to square off against Horn at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
