DuBois Central Catholic has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Johnsonburg Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, DuBois Central Catholic was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-54 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, DuBois Central Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 77th).
Meanwhile, Johnsonburg can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northern Potter 56-24 on the road.
DuBois Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Johnsonburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
DuBois Central Catholic beat the Rams 43-30 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for DuBois Central Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
