The Clinton Central Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Taylor 75-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clinton Central has scored all season.
Clinton Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Davison, who scored six points. Cole Davison was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Clinton Central struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Keyshawn Galloway was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals for Taylor. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Galloway has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Christian Hall, who scored 21 points.
Clinton Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Taylor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Clinton Central will head out on the road to face off against Alexandria-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Taylor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Western at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
