The North Rockland Raiders will be playing at home against the Mount Vernon Knights at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Last Friday, North Rockland came up short against Carmel and fell 14-6.
Meanwhile, Mount Vernon fell victim to Scarsdale's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-0. Mount Vernon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped North Rockland to 5-3 and Mount Vernon to 2-5.
Everything came up roses for North Rockland against Mount Vernon in their previous matchup back in September of 2022 as the squad secured a 34-0 victory. Will North Rockland repeat their success, or does Mount Vernon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
