The Fort Stockton Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 97-22 defeat at the hands of Seminole. While losing is never fun, Fort Stockton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 918th, while the Indians are ranked 55th).
Fort Stockton has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for Seminole, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 27-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Stockton will face off against the Loboes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Monahans has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Seminole, they will head out on the road to take on the Rangers at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Greenwood is on a four-game streak of home wins, the Indians a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
