Greenville has gone 9-1 against Fairborn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Green Wave will look to defend their home court against the Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Greenville has three straight victories, Fairborn has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Tuesday, Greenville got the win against West Carrollton by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Greenville took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-3, 25-12.

Greenville relied on the efforts of Lily Brubaker, who had six aces and four digs, and Landrey Huffman, who had three digs and three aces. Those six aces gave Brubaker a new career-high. Sara Loudy also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Greenville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Fairborn came up short against Tippecanoe on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
While Fairborn was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Tippecanoe's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-19.
Fairborn's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Greenville, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Everything went Greenville's way against Fairborn in their previous meeting back in September, as Greenville made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Green Wave have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Skyhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
