Harvard Ellis Tech took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers 8-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Rose Lopez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Lopez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvard Ellis Tech is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Norwich RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Windham RVT, they will take on Grasso Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
