Phillips can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 77-55 margin over Winston County. The win was just what Phillips needed coming off of a 75-44 loss in their prior matchup.
Hackleburg has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Phillips, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
Everything came up roses for Hackleburg against the Bears when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 79-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hackleburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
