North Florida Christian has gone 8-1-1 against Wakulla recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times North Florida Christian and Leon had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles fell 8-3 to the Lions on Friday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lions since on Friday.

Jace Riggan put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of North Florida Christian's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 6-11 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Jimmy Meeks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Wakulla didn't have quite enough to beat Bozeman on Friday and fell 8-7.
Sam Bruce was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Klees, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
Wakulla dropped their record down to 11-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Florida Christian, their record is now 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Florida Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Wakulla struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North Florida Christian skirted past Wakulla 6-5 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
