The Norton Science & Language Academy Rockets lost against the Crossroads Christian Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Norton Science & Language Academy took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.
Crossroads Christian had a senior duo take command as Jacob Faldas scored 27 points along with four steals and Dean MacRitchie dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Faldas has scored at least a third of Crossroads Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Rayson, who scored five points along with 12 rebounds.
Norton Science & Language Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Crossroads Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norton Science & Language Academy will challenge the Kings at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bethel Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.7 points per game this season. As for Crossroads Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grove School is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
