It was a good run, but Sunray unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 78-53 to the Ascension Academy Cardinals.

Sunray's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Ascension Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunray will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Goodwell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ascension Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McLean at 7:30 p.m. on December 9.
