St. Dominic has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Holy Trinity Titans at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Even though St. Dominic couldn't quite topple the Titans last Thursday, it was still a huge improvement compared to the 22-point defeat they took when the two last played. Everything went St. Dominic's way against the Titans as the Bayhawks made off with a 64-41 victory. St. Dominic pushed the score to 59-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Titans cut but never quite recovered from.
St. Dominic's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Holy Trinity, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything went St. Dominic's way against the Titans in their previous matchup last Thursday as the Bayhawks made off with a 64-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Dominic since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
