With a playoff win on the line, Saint Thomas Aquinas rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bonner Springs Braves. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won seven in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Saint Thomas Aquinas took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12.

Saint Thomas Aquinas can attribute much of their success to Malin Chaput, who had eight digs and two aces. What's more, Chaput posted four assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Saint Thomas Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Bonner Springs, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-19.

Saint Thomas Aquinas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Highland Park on the 25th. Bonner Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
