Make it 11 blowout wins for the Broken Arrow Tigers this season. They blew past Ponca City 68-21 at home on Friday. Given Broken Arrow's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Wildcats are ranked 271st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
McKenzie Mathurin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Marraccini, who scored four points along with eight assists and two steals.
Broken Arrow has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Ponca City, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-15.
