Neuwirth Leadership Academy lost against Hawkins in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 77-24 score last time.
Hawkins' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Boston, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of De'Meiko Crawford, who scored ten points.
Neuwirth Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Hawkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.
Neuwirth Leadership Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gertz-Ressler at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Hawkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harbor Teacher at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Harbor Teacher is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
