Softball Recap: Choctaw Central Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Choctaw Central had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They beat the Tishomingo County Braves by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-2 victory on Friday.

Choctaw Central's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Tishomingo County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-10.

As of now, neither Choctaw Central nor the Braves have any future games scheduled.
