Wayne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilly Morrill, who scored ten points along with three steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. AJ Vandyke was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Escalante's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wayne, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
