Last Friday, D'Iberville was able to grind out a solid win over St. Martin, taking the game 48-40. Given D'Iberville's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while St. Martin is ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Biloxi came up short against Harrison Central on Wednesday and fell 55-44.
D'Iberville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Biloxi, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
