Murrah strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They had just enough and edged out R.W. Goines Stem Academy 29-26. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Murrah's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Murrah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-65 win against Dunbar on the 15th. As for R.W. Goines Stem Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eastern Hills at 7:30 p.m. on January 27, 2026.
