The Central Eagles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 46-27 victory over Chesterfield on Tuesday. That looming 46-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Central yet this season.
Central was led to victory by Caden Edmond and Tyson Miller. Edmond scored ten points along with eight rebounds, while Miller scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Tazhir Webber, who scored six points.
Central's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Chesterfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cheraw the next time they take the court. Central will host Cheraw at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Chesterfield will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
