The Vale Vikings are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Lakeview Honkers at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Vale pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parma.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Lakeview, who are still winless after their fifth game. They fell 57-45 to Modoc on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Lakeview came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 202nd in Oregon, while Modoc is ranked 1155th in California).
Vale now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lakeview, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
