It was a good run, but  the Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell  43-32 to Boston University Academy. Marie Philip was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Boston University Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in January.
 Several Galloping Ghosts players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Stella Ciulla, who  scored 16 points along with 4  steals. Ciulla scored a full 50% of Marie Philip's points, the fifth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Valerie  Salgado, who  scored 7 points along with 10  rebounds.
 Marie Philip's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Boston University Academy, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Marie Philip will take on Katzenbach School for the Deaf at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. As for Boston University Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
