The Redlands East Valley Wildcats pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glendora. Redlands East Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Redlands East Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Ivens, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The game was Ivens' 12th in a row with at least ten points. Dariel Bahamontes was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Redlands East Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Glendora, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Redlands East Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Norco at 6:30 p.m. on December 26th. As for Glendora, they will head out on the road to face off against Ayala at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
