Channelview has gone a perfect 4-0 against Humble recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Channelview Falcons will take on the Humble Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Channelview's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Humble's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Channelview fell victim to Summer Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered against the Bulldogs since April 25, 2017.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Humble). They put the hurt on North Shore with a sharp 11-4 victory on Friday. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23, 2024.

John Martinez made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed over his last five games. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jaylen Jones was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 13 matchups. Jo'El Huckaby also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Humble has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. Channelview has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Channelview beat Humble 7-3 in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Channelview since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
