Despite the loss, LaVille still got an impressive performance from Collin Czarnecki, who went 16-for-27 on his way to 44 points and five rebounds. Czarnecki's morning made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Edison, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 12 points in addition to six assists and six boards.
Whitko's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for LaVille, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
Looking ahead, Whitko will challenge Wabash at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Wabash has lost nine straight at home , while Whitko has lost five on the road. As for LaVille, they will square off against 21st Century Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
