Baseball Recap: Moore Haven Takes a Loss

Moore Haven lost to The Village School of Naples back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Terriers fell 6-1 to the Knights.

Moore Haven saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thaddeus Johns, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Johns has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Moore Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for The Village School of Naples, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Moore Haven will square off against Glades Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.56 runs per game on average), something the Terriers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for The Village School of Naples, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Donahue Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
