Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Brayden Boyd stepped things up a notch to give Cedar Hill the 'W'. Boyd got on base in three of his five plate appearances with five RBI, one run, and one double, which was good enough to set a new career-high in RBI.

Boyd's strong effort led Cedar Hill over DeSoto and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns are 7-2 against the Eagles going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
