The Central Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by North Central at home to the tune of 58-22. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Central has managed all season.
Jordyn Griffin was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Kabreyia Covington was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 16 rebounds.
Central's win ended a 13-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13. As for North Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
