Marked Tree put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They skirted past the East Poinsett County Warriors 44-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Marked Tree pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for East Poinsett County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marked Tree will head out to square off against Hillcrest at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Marked Tree has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests. As for East Poinsett County, they are taking a road trip to take on Buffalo Island Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
