Cass City has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge The Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Thursday, Cass City had to suffer through a rough 42-8 loss at the hands of Ubly. While losing is never fun, Cass City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Ubly is ranked 45th).
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Michigan Lutheran Seminary over Bendle in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Michigan Lutheran Seminary blew Bendle out of the water with a 56-6 final score. With Michigan Lutheran Seminary ahead 28-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
William Salgat and Carson D. koehler were among the main playmakers for Michigan Lutheran Seminary as the former rushed for 115 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries and the latter rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary's victory bumped their season record to 6-2 while Cass City's loss dropped theirs to 7-2.
