Mitchell won the last time they faced Zephyrhills and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 6-1 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Taylor Tucker made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Tucker wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was MacKenzie Tucker, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Mitchell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Zephyrhills only managed five hits.

Mitchell's record now sits at 16-5. As for Zephyrhills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season.

Mitchell will challenge Lecanto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Zephyrhills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
